Which is better Half-Price Shipping or $2.00 any item in the catalog? I'm trying to boost July sales with an incentive sale.

I've been advised that instead of giving something discounted or free, give them something extra. July is a great month for this because the guest special is not a freebie.

Offer a free seasoning or rub with a $50 order or something along those lines.

You could even offer a Free Season's Best cookbook with every order over $50. They are only $1 and by the time you add it onto the Host order its discounted anyway. Or if you are wanting something a little bigger the mini serving spatula- $4( very popular), but depending on the Host discount it would be about $3??. Just some ideas....

Of your 2 options, I would pick $2 off any item because that adds to your comissionable sales. The $2 off shipping costs you a little more (you aren't making anything on it to offset the cost) and it won't contribute to increased host benefits, sales, incentive points, etc. like the $2 in product will.

Trish, I love your coupons and will probably be stealing them in the future to use for myself. The only thing I wonder about is whether you should lower the amount they need to spend to get the cookbook. I would do it for a $25 order. JMHO

I did a contest with my June host that who ever had the most in guest sales won the Jumbo BBQ Turner. YOu could do something like that to with all your customer and have the one with the highest amount spent wins something, too. I am going to do it again for my Host and may for the Guest as well. My host really got into it - one won by $2.00!

And I just had a customer give me back 2 BBQ Basting Bottle's that the guest did not want , so, I can use them for Free.! YAHOO!!!

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Is Better: Half-Price Shipping or Free Shipping on Orders Over a Certain Amount?

Half-price shipping can be a great deal if your order is smaller and you want to save on shipping costs. However, if you are planning to make a larger purchase, free shipping on orders over a certain amount might be more beneficial, as it allows you to save more overall. It ultimately depends on the size of your order and your shipping preferences.

Is Half-Price Shipping Worth It Compared to Standard Shipping Rates?

Half-price shipping is often a better option than standard shipping rates, especially for smaller orders. It can significantly reduce your shipping costs, making it more affordable to get your Pampered Chef products delivered. However, for larger orders, you may want to compare the total costs to see which option offers the best savings.

Can I Combine Half-Price Shipping with Other Promotions?

In most cases, half-price shipping can be combined with other promotions or discounts. However, it's essential to check the specific terms and conditions of the promotion you are interested in, as some offers may have restrictions. Always confirm with your Pampered Chef consultant for the best possible deals.

How Does Half-Price Shipping Affect My Overall Order Total?

Choosing half-price shipping will reduce your shipping costs, which can positively impact your overall order total. This option allows you to allocate more of your budget toward products rather than shipping fees. It's a great way to maximize your spending on Pampered Chef items.

Are There Any Limitations to Using Half-Price Shipping?

Yes, there may be limitations to using half-price shipping, such as restrictions on certain products or minimum order amounts. Additionally, it may only be available during specific promotions or events.
