I am just wondering what is the most amount of shows everyone has done in a month, and what are you doing to get and keep those bookings??

I did 10 cooking shows last June and it killed me! It was a sell a thon month and I sold over $6k which was my first time for that! LOVED that commission check though!:D

I do PC P/T and in November I did 9 shows ... I have 8 already scheduled for March. I keep dreaming of the cruise.

I think I did 7 one month last fall. More than that gets to be too much for my family. I try to schedule 8 or 9. someone always cancels... My goal is to do 6 cooking shows and 2 catalog shows a month.

I had 7 shows last October, 6 cooking and 1 catalog. My goal is to have 7-8 shows a month, 5-6 cooking and 1-2 catalog. I'm getting closer to reaching that goal each month.

Including catalog shows I did 13 in Feb. I ask everyone at my cooking shows to get bookings and I offer an incentive to catalog shows if they get bookings for me. I give them 10 dollars off the order at that person's show. I also do booths at festivals

I did 14 this November. My husband works for a company that makes the seats for Ford trucks and he was on shut down for 6 weeks from Aug-Dec. It was nice because I was able to make up the difference in pay.

When I saw this happening again I picked it up. This month I have 17 booked and a Spring Fling. Thankfully, I am prepared because DH only worked 2 hours yesterday and was told to take a vacation day today and the company will be on shutdown next week.

I am building my team so DH can get the job he wants without the stress.

When he does I'll go back to 8-10 a month.

I think 10 is my best. That included a couple of cattys.

That's unusual for me, though. I generally stick to 1 or 2 a week.

what are you doing to get that many bookings ? I am up for new suggestions.... and creative ideas!!

I have 7 this month, did 7 in January & 7 last November. Jan & Nov were 6 cooking & 1 catty, but this month it's 7 cooking. I may also have one more cooking show--need to get ahold of the potential host to set a date. I don't want to do more than 8 a month--and that might be pushing it! I'm pregnant & my daughter is 2 & I babysit my 3 year old nephew full time, so I don't want to do too many right now. I've noticed that when I act like I don't care if I have bookings & tell them I only have such & such dates left, I tend to get more bookings. When I try to get them (desperate to reach an incentive), I think people notice & back off.

I also give the host an incentive that if they get $200 in outside orders or 2 bookings before their show, they get free food. They can also get $100 in oo & 1 booking. Sometimes I'll get bookings that way.

I think my highest was 9 cooking shows in one month.

One of my presenters at a conference workshop said she did 10-15. I wouldn't be able to keep up with that month in and month out.

Debbie when I did 10 last June, July I was so tired. Good thing it was conference and I could take a break there (not sleep break). It does where you out!

Okay... so when you get a No on a DPDS... or it seems like no one is interested hosting a show.... how do you turn that around...... and get bookings from that? I really want my business to grow this year...

I forgot to add ask for referals!! The second thing I would do is fairs. This has helped grow my biz in so many different directions. I offer everyone a free cooking show who marked maybe or yes. I have received so many bookings this way. HTH
