Who May Find This Useful

Consultants looking for insights into customer preferences and product ideas may find this discussion valuable.

I would love to see;
mango pitter
9X13 pan with a lid
small square Cranberry bowls to complete the set (not every day is a dots day!)
a dome that is secure for the cake standing
some way to carry totes, pies, etc. to events
plastic or some kid-friendly dots glasses
a kitchen scale would be great also

a customer suggested a PC canister set, thats easy to get the stuff out

I've requested this at the last 2 conferences. Still waiting.....

I've had several customers ask about the stone holders. The wooden racks that we had a few years ago. Most people don't have a lot of room to store them and would use them more often if they had a way to keep them out.

I like the cookbook stand idea and the smaller DCB. I have had several singles ask me about that and I just usually suggest the mini baker, but it has no lid. maybe some lids for the other bakers would be a good idea....one for the mini, the rectangular and the square. I ordered the one for the deep dish baker from the outlet but I've used it more as a splatter cover for items in the microwave. It works beautifully for that in case anyone is interested!

I was thinking this morning about the holiday platters. We've had Christmas trees, and Snowmen. Think we'll have Snowflakes this year? If so, I hope they're either white or frosted glass - do NOT want to see them coordinate with the Dots!

I think it would be neat, since it's the 30th anniversary that they bring back some of their items from the past. With a little update or twist... The toast tongs, oh my goodness if I got a nickel for everytime someone has asked me if we still sell them... =)

I love the spice rack idea and the cookbook holder. I also would like a one or two cup glass batter bowl. Great idea.

I just hope no more dots...I hate the dots!

I love the dots, but I can't say I'm looking for lots more.

I like the dots too and can only thing of one thing missing and that is a juice glass thing. I too think a snowflake plate would be wonderful to round out the rest. Now as for some old products, I would totally love to see the hamburger press come back. I had one from 1996 but it broke and was awesome. So much better than the TW one. That one stinks as when you pull out the burger, it sticks and breaks and you gotta stop all over again.

Mini Muffin Stoneware....I've had this asked for SO many times. I love the idea of the silverware being all metal and having the dots etched in it. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I remember being told at some point (I think at a Conference by someone in the Test Kitchens) that a Mini Muffin Stone would be impossible to do, because of the properties of the stone and making the cups so small, there would be no way to make it strong enough to handle normal use.

For myself - I'd love to see a GIANT muffin stone. One that made the huge bakery type muffins!

Bummer about the mini muffin stoneware. )-: I'll have to fill my clients in on that.

Hey, who knows....maybe they've figured out a way to get it done! I just remember being told that a few years ago when I asked about it.

Do you think they could make the batter bowls in colored glass and if so would there be a market for it? Maybe pink glass for HWC????

Someone said something about metal utensils one year when the dots were first introduced. I was in the product showcase and I am pretty sure it was was Lisa Flynn who was asked. I think the answer was a negative. The problem I think she mentioned was the cost of a good quality set. If the utensils were made to PC standards, they would be too expensive and that an inexpensive set might cause return issues. Especially with dish washing. So...
