Here's the tipsheet that I just did. This is version 1. I'm looking for feedback on any changes! It feels a little squished, but that's the only way to fit everything....

Anyone?

I think it needs more separation - whether that's lines between sections, or putting certain sections in boxes... I think the busy-ness comes from everything kinda running together without separation. Also: put the paring knife first, and THEN the petite paring knife. It's a bit jarring to read "shorter than the paring knife" when we haven't learned about the paring knife yet.Other than all THAT, I like! The final version of this will CERTAINLY go in my folder of info to take to shows!

Hang on, Tara. I'm working on it..... ;)

Thanks, this is good info to share!

Great info, Tara!!! :D

Okay, hope you don't mind, Tara, but I took it upon myself to do some playing with your doc (I really enjoy doing this stuff!).

I grouped the items that go together, changed the font so it wouldn't take up so much space, changed the margins and put some lines in.

I like that. I've been sitting here trying to redo it too and just making a mess. This is nice!Only one more small thing - under the chef's knife - you'll want it to read "Its curved blade" instead of "It's curved blade."This is going in my binder! Thanks!

Marie, will you attach what you did so we can see how you did it?

Thanks Marie - I really like THAT, too!Oh, decisions, decisions!

 Sorry, Jennifer, but is my attachement not there?? Is that what you're looking for?

Sorry, but it is past my bedtime....LOL!!

You attached it (or at least, it finally showed up) after I posted my request. It's there and I like it. :) Thanks!

Here's an update - paring knives switched order and "It's" changed to "Its".

PERFECT! You rock!

I knew someone could make it look better!

Thanks again to both of you! :)The only other thing I'm going to do is change the font - I'm trying to make sure that all the flyers in my binder use the same font - I think the consistency will look good throughout my book. Thanks again!

Much improved! Thanks! P.S. On the 5" knives, the quote mark is facing the wrong way.

Thanks Tara and Marie-France! This will be very helpful.

Thank you ladies for posting such useful information! ;)
