I wasn't at NC last year, so I'll have to take your word that it was bad. In 2005, I went to a workshop that was, honestly, a complete waste of my time. It gave me something to laugh about later with my friends.It was truly awful. I didn't learn a thing. It was right after lunch. The room was hot, so I got really sleepy. Of course, I sat on the front row, so I couldn't even take the opportunity to catch a few winks. Gave me a lot of ammo for my stand-up routine. http://www.thesmilies.com/smilies/happy0014.gif

Good luck on finding someone. I will be alone also at the Hilton and am not looking forward to the check out bill. I think that while in my spare time I might try to scout out less expenive hotels in the area for next time.

7/14 Get It Together: Time Management...I really struggle in this area.

I cannot wait to get there. We will be leaving Tulsa on the 11th...flying nonstop into OHare. The last 2 times we have flown in at the last minute and it has been a royal pain to get where we need to go on time. I am loving the idea of being able to relax on Wed night before we start our busy 3 day schedule.

Is anyone doing the HO tour on Thursday? The two other ladies from my cluster that I was going to hang out with on Thursday won't be going. I'll be doing nothing Thursday morning in Chicago by myself. As relaxing as that sounds, I'd really rather be doing something....

I just went thru everyone's schedule and as of this monment, nobody is scheduled for my class during the slot I am teaching it - woo hoo!!
Granted, the time slot they gave us is tentative...we won't know for sure til we pick up our registration packets.

I think maybe about 20-25 mins, though i dont live in Lousiville anymore just moved to east canton but thats only about 5 mins from Louisville, Im so excited for conference this week has just been terrible I lost my great grandma on Tuesday so I need this break

Not sure which one would be better...but I chose Test Kitchens cuz they normally give out lots of suggestions and tips. (Especially about the NEW products!) AND you can normally get a Cooking Show Live on DVD to watch at home!

Well, my classes will be changing since I'm going to take a directorship class and I'll be at the director training event so I won't be at Lyn Conways either. I sure do hope to see you all though in my other classes. HO said I can't change until I get onsite. Ugh!!
