kam said:I knowand that's why I love the stones for hot dips and such...but I was thinking for a longer time span.
I will have a warming tray set up for appetizers and was wondering if I could set one of the bakers on the warming tray just to keep it warm for a longer period of time.
BethCooks4U said:I would not do that. The stone would probably be fine since you're starting out hot but I would not take the chance and it could void the warranty.
Why don't you call the test kitchens? They will be able to answer that I would think.
kam said:OK. Yes I will do that. I always forget that is an option for us. I have never contacted test kitchens, is it better to email or call?
Thanks!
BethCooks4U said:Either way. I've done both. You get a machine usually if you call but either way they CALL back and discuss your issue with you. They are awesome!
A warming tray is an electric appliance designed to keep food warm without cooking it further. When used with bakers, it helps maintain the temperature of baked goods, ensuring they stay warm and ready to serve. It's ideal for gatherings or when preparing multiple dishes.
Yes, several safety precautions should be observed. Always place the warming tray on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure that the tray is not covered with cloth or other materials that could catch fire. Additionally, avoid placing cold or frozen items directly on the tray, as this can cause uneven heating and potential hazards.
Not all bakers are suitable for use on a warming tray. It's important to use bakeware that is labeled as oven-safe or heat-resistant. Glass, ceramic, and certain metal bakers are typically safe, but always check the manufacturer's guidelines to ensure compatibility.
Food can generally be kept warm on a warming tray for up to two hours. Beyond this time, the quality and safety of the food may be compromised. It's best to monitor the food and serve it as soon as possible to maintain optimal taste and safety.
If your warming tray is overheating, immediately unplug it and allow it to cool down. Check for any obstructions or materials that may be blocking ventilation. If the problem persists, consult the manufacturer's instructions or contact customer service for further assistance.
