I had a fundraiser and there was an extra small striped square in it. The host said that she thought she ordered one but wasn't sure. So i gave it to her and planned on checking in on PP when i got home. Well that didnt happen for a few days. It is not on PP. So they sent us an extra. I havent told the host that it wasnt ordered. She probably opened it already. What should I do?

You just go onto CC and do a product adjustmant. HO will pick it up from the host.

Hi there! As a fellow Pampered Chef consultant, I completely understand your dilemma. In situations like this, it's always best to be honest with your host and let them know what happened. They will appreciate your transparency and it's important to maintain trust with your customers. You can offer to either return the item or let them keep it as a gift for their support of the fundraiser. It's also a good idea to double check the order with the host to make sure there weren't any other discrepancies. Thank you for reaching out for advice and I hope this helps!

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do if I receive an unordered item at my fundraiser?

If you receive an unordered item, first check your order forms and any communications from the supplier to confirm that the item was indeed not part of your order. If it is confirmed as unordered, contact the supplier or the fundraising coordinator to report the issue and seek guidance on how to proceed.

Can I keep the unordered item if it was delivered to me?

Generally, unordered items should not be kept. It's best to return them to the supplier or follow the instructions provided by the fundraising coordinator. Keeping unordered items can lead to complications with inventory and accounting for the fundraiser.

How do I return an unordered item?

To return an unordered item, contact the supplier or the fundraising coordinator for specific return instructions. They may provide you with a return shipping label or ask you to drop off the item at a designated location. Make sure to keep any tracking information for your records.

Will I be charged for the unordered item?

Typically, you should not be charged for unordered items. However, it’s important to clarify this with the supplier or fundraising coordinator to ensure there are no misunderstandings regarding billing or inventory.

What if I can't reach the supplier regarding the unordered item?

If you're unable to reach the supplier, try contacting your fundraising coordinator for assistance. They may have alternative contact methods or solutions for handling the situation. Document your attempts to reach the supplier in case further follow-up is needed.
