When submitting a show, one of the last screens before it actually submits is where you tell what month you're submitting for. Beneath that is an empty space for "month bonus." What does it mean? Is it a director thing?

That's something left over from the old payment structure. We used to get a set (20%) commission and a monthly and quarterly bonus based on sales. That space was there so if we wanted to track it on a report we could put the bonus amount in our records.

The "month bonus" is a feature on some show submission platforms where you can specify a particular month for your show to be considered for. This is usually used by directors or producers to strategically time the release of their show for a specific month, such as during a holiday season or when there is less competition from other shows. It can also be used to take advantage of any bonuses or incentives offered by the platform for submitting during a certain month. It is not a mandatory field and can be left blank if you do not have a specific month in mind for your show to be considered for.
