Today Is My 14Th Wedding Anniversary:)

Hi everyone,

Just thinking back to 14 years ago today on a beautiful early springtime day (in Illinois it was 60 degrees and sunny) how I married my wonderful husband. Now it's 3 kids later and still going strong! We are going to celebrate with dinner and a movie (going to see Shooter with that cutie Mark Wahlberg and heading to Red Lobster. The nice thing is that it's spring break for my kids and 70 degrees- gotta love it! Enjoy your day everyone

My DH and I will celebrate our 22nd this weekend. Our anniversary is Friday, but we'll both be working. On Saturday we'll head to Indianapolis for dinner at Carrabbas Italian Grill and some wandering through stores. (I married a man who likes to shop.) Twenty-two years ago he graduated from Marine Corp Boot Camp. I flew out for his graduation in San Diego, CA. We drove to Vegas and got married in The Little White Wedding Chapel. I told him then that life with me might not always be fun, but it would never be dull. We still have a great marriage, friendship, and love affair. (And, yes, all three are with one another.)

Thanks everyone - I had a great day - although I'm still quite stuffed from dinner. Congrats Rae on your upcoming anniversary - sounds like it will be a good one. I know I'm fortunate to have a good marriage - my parents celebrate their 42nd this year and my grandparents celebrate their 66th this year! We hope to be as fortunate as they are!

Gina, Happy Anniversary! Just wanted to get that in there before the day is over! Got a while to go yet, but DH and I have 18 years this September. Hard to believe how fast the time goes by. Hope your dinner was great...I LOVE Red Lobster! Yummy stuff!!
