Duh - why didn't I think of that??

One question though... my husband doesn't like cheese (especially not cheddar). Think I could make 2 smaller loaves in the DCB at the same time?

We will have tried 10 new recipes this month and it has just been truely wonderful!!

Meatballs take 6 minutes to cook in the DCB. We have great dipping sauces, too. BBQ and sweet and sour work well, too.Chili works great in the DCB in the microwave. You can substitute hamburger for the turkey in the Quick Turkey Chili from PC.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some easy recipes using the DCB and ground beef?

One easy recipe is a Beef and Cheese Casserole. Simply brown the ground beef with onions and garlic, then mix in cooked pasta, marinara sauce, and cheese. Transfer the mixture to the DCB, cover, and microwave for about 15-20 minutes until heated through and the cheese is melted.

Can I use frozen ground beef in the DCB?

Yes, you can use frozen ground beef in the DCB. Just make sure to break it up into smaller pieces for even cooking. Microwave on high for about 5-7 minutes, then stir and continue cooking until fully cooked through.

What are some seasoning suggestions for ground beef in the DCB?

For a flavorful dish, try using taco seasoning, Italian herbs, or a blend of garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. You can also add fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro after cooking for an extra burst of flavor.

How do I ensure the ground beef cooks evenly in the DCB?

To ensure even cooking, break the ground beef into smaller chunks and spread it out evenly in the DCB. Stir the beef halfway through the cooking time to promote even heating and prevent any pieces from clumping together.

Can I make a meatloaf in the DCB with ground beef?

Absolutely! To make a meatloaf, combine ground beef with breadcrumbs, eggs, and your favorite seasonings. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in the DCB. Cover and microwave for about 10-15 minutes, checking for doneness with a meat thermometer.
