I have what seems to be a silly question to me but I am unsure of the answer!

I want to use my mini catalogs (SS10 ones) as mailers once my website is opened up - so close to getting qualified - but here is my question: do you tape the edges or no? I am afraid that they would get destroyed otherwise!

Thanks,

Karen

I put mine in a business size envelope just so that won't happen.

I do this too. It's the same cost except for the envelope and peace of mind that they receive it intact.

Ditto on what they said!

Hi Karen,Thank you for reaching out with your question! There's no such thing as a silly question when it comes to making sure your catalogs arrive in perfect condition. When using mini catalogs as mailers, I recommend taping the edges to ensure they stay intact during transit. This will also give your customers a better first impression when they receive their catalog. Good luck with your website launch and congratulations on getting close to qualifying!Happy cooking,

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I tape the edges of my mini catalogs for mailing?

Taping the edges of your mini catalogs can help prevent them from getting damaged during transit. It provides extra protection against tearing and ensures that your materials arrive in good condition.

What type of tape should I use for mailing mini catalogs?

It's best to use clear packing tape or masking tape, as these types are strong and provide a secure seal. Avoid using decorative tape, as it may not hold up well during shipping.

Will taping the edges increase my mailing costs?

Taping the edges may add a small amount of weight, but generally, it won't significantly increase your mailing costs. The protection it offers can save you money in the long run by preventing damage and the need for re-sending catalogs.

Can I use tape on the entire catalog or just the edges?

It's recommended to focus on the edges of the catalog rather than taping the entire surface. Taping the edges provides the necessary protection without making the catalog difficult to open or read.

Are there any alternatives to taping the edges of my mini catalogs?

Yes, you can use sturdy envelopes or mailers designed for catalogs, which provide protection without the need for tape. Additionally, consider using plastic sleeves or protective covers to keep your catalogs safe during mailing.
