Securing Your Email List: Tips for Ensuring Privacy and Confidentiality

M
mistym
I am unsure how I go about keeping my email list private when I send my e-newsletter.

I am using Windows Live Mail, a bit like hotmail. Can someone please explain?

Thanks
Misty

I send the newsletter to myself, and then add the other people's addresses under the "BCC"

So, when they see my newsletter, my email address shows up, but none of the other ones are accessible.

That's exactly what I do.

Ditto!

Too short a message...must add more text!

You can also save your newsletter list as a group, then all you need to do when you send out your newsletters is click on "show cc and bcc" add the group to the bcc line and then put your email in the To line

That is what I do as well....

aha!

Thanks so much! I will do this from now on!

I also put my customers in a group and do a bcc mailing. My customers know that I am not sharing their names with anyone and appreciate it.
