I wanted to make sure I didn't accidentally lose data from PP when I switched over to PP+. So, I got a "travel drive" (like a zip drive) to save the old program on. It backed up okay. I then reloaded the current PP onto the travel drive. But, the old data didn't import into the old program. Can I do that? And, if so, how?

Go to Utilities and Restore from Backup. That should import all of your information!

Unfortunately, importing data from one program to another is not always a seamless process. It is possible that the old data may not be compatible with the new program, or that there may be some other issue preventing it from importing properly. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:1. Check file compatibility: Make sure that your old data files are compatible with the new program. If they are not, you may need to convert them to a compatible format before importing.2. Check for updates: Make sure that both your old program and the new program are up-to-date with the latest software updates. This can help ensure compatibility between the two.3. Use a third-party tool: There are some third-party tools designed specifically for transferring data between different programs. You may want to research and consider using one of these tools to help with the transfer.4. Contact customer support: If you are still having trouble importing your data, reach out to the customer support team for both programs. They may be able to provide further guidance on how to successfully import your data.5. Manually enter the data: If all else fails, you may need to manually enter the data into the new program. This can be time-consuming, but it may be the only option if the data cannot be imported.Overall, it's always a good idea to back up your data before making any major changes or updates to your programs. This way, if something goes wrong, you have a backup to fall back on. Good luck!
