I had my first show, and my host just got her shipment in. She is saying her knives don't look new. They look like returns that have been refurbished. She got them at 60% off, so she is thinking they sent her used ones.

Has anyone ever dealt with this?
 
LOL....that is new and highly unlikely. but all you can do is call HO and ask (humor her).
 
They are supposed to look "brushed", not shiny. But yes, you can call HO & verify. I've never heard of such a thing.
 
Calling sounds good, but if it was me, I would not believe any "fine, fine" response. My advice is to go ahead and do an adjustment. Those knives are too expensive even at 60% off to have any question. When she gets the replacements they will look the same and then she'll be happy. You'll have a customer forever, too, I'd think.
