OK, to recap from the other thread: we can buy our gifts under the recipients' names so that they will have the receipts.

Here's the spinoff:
What if Susie ShowGuest wants to buy for herself, for her Aunt Sally's birthday and for her kids' teachers' Christmas gifts? The one receipt we give her would cover all that, right? Right.

This has actually come up for me already. My mom bought my dad's assistant a medium scoop, some scrapers and some other things. She broke the scoop, contacted HO, then needed to contact me to get the show number, then contacted HO again and it's all resolved.

Just thought I'd throw this out as an FYI since it's gift-giving season and it may come up.

I know there are times when people have bought gifts for others and alot of times I tell them if they have any problems with their products like they break or whatever then to contact me and I'll take care of it for them. It gets so complicated sometimes when it comes to receipts to me. I wish there was something we could give as far as receipts go for when people buy gifts for others.

Isn't there a way you can put the gift recipient's name on the same order form w/o treating it like a separate order and paying the extra shipping? I would call the home office to see what they suggest.

Gift Receipts - you can give to your guestsHi Janel. Here's something you can do.....
When you're at your Shows, you can tell your guests to let you know if they need a guest receipt. If so, you can give them one of the attached cards. Just fill out the Consultant #, Show# and Date. Then direct the buying guest to fill in the item # and description of the item they are giving, along with the appropriate warranty term at the top (1 yr, 5yr, lifetime, etc.).

I came across this on one the PC boards and tweaked just a bit.

Hi there! Thank you for sharing this helpful information with us. It's great to know that we can purchase gifts under the recipients' names so that they have the receipts. And you're absolutely right, if Susie ShowGuest wants to buy for herself, her Aunt Sally's birthday, and her kids' teachers' Christmas gifts, she can use one receipt for all of those purchases. I'm sorry to hear about your mom's broken scoop, but I'm glad to hear that it was resolved with the help of HO and your show number. This is definitely something to keep in mind during this gift-giving season. Thank you for the heads up! Wishing you and your loved ones a happy and stress-free holiday season! Happy cooking!
