I had a show yesterday morning - over $600 in sales and 3 possible bookings for summer and fall. Closed out a show today from this past Tuesday - $480 in sales - tote bag is coming to my house:) Picked up a vendor event for late May as well. Need to get some actual summer dates on my calendar.

Happy Mother's Day to all - heading out to visit my grandparents tomorrow for the day (unfortunately it will probably be my Grandma's last Mother's Day and she is in bad health:() I've been lucky to have them in my life as long as I have - Grandma is 87 and Grandpa will turn 91 on May 29th.

Did some "out of the box" calls, host coaching and called the SIL of the intial recruit. She is definitely interested in joining my team. I encouraged her to let her SIL know so they could learn as a team and set aside some time to meet with me when I'm out there Saturday which they will do.

If I could only sign them both Saturday! If I read things right, it would be worth $200 to sign two recruits in my first 30 days....

Great JOB!!! I may be wrong, but I believe you would get $150 PCD for each recruit signed in your first 30 days, PLUS you'll get a 25$ cash recruiting bonus, PLUS you get 25 catalogs for each one as a Thank you and Great Job from PC!!

WHOO HOO!!!

Made my calls. Scheduled another June show. Spoke to 2 more who are planning to host, but need a few more days to choose a date.

Successful day of contacts.

It started out weird. I had an email from a woman who is in my cluster (a recruit of my director) saying she is getting out of the business, and had someone who wanted to do a show, and was interested in signing, and would I be interested in doing the show?

Okaayy. I just thought it was a little weird. I wasn't sure how to respond, so I called my D - and talked to her about it...she sorta laughed. And she told me to go for it...anything that helps me, helps her too. I just wanted everything to be out in the open, and above board with her, because I love and respect her, and don't want to do anything that isn't right.

So - that contact was made, and I have another show for June.

Talked to another person who was interested in info about becoming a consultant, and wanted to book a show - she doesn't want to do anything until August though, because she has to travel most of June and July for her job, and has a family wedding and vacation in there too. We booked her for August, and will revisit the opportunity then too.

Called someone that I was supposed to connect with at Church on Sunday, but never got a chance - she placed an order for the Fundraiser - another DCB, and some other stuff...$120 order!

Made some other calls to people who want to book - but just left messages.

No contacts for me today. I made a couple of calls, but they were not new business. I also stopped back at Curves, but missed the managers again. Attended my cluster meeting with my newest recruit tonight.

Tomorrow is a new day....................

trying to get my mojo back! I need to add some new team members like crazy and quickly - and then get them to recruit, recruit, recruit.

off to get in touch with some declined credit cards......and call some recruit leads!

Well I'm still plugging along and trying really hard to get up an running full force. I did 2 booths the past 2 saturdays. Both were very slow. I only got 2 drawing slips from 1st, but one has show on the calender and since the other "won" my free cooking show she wants to book for June and hopefully will. We've been emailing and if I don't hear back by thursday I'll call to schedule a date.

Tonight we went out to eat, just at a local diner. I left a mini catalog with the tip and put up some cards on bulliten board along with a PC consultant in neighborhood flyer. Maybe it will generate at least some online orders (fingers, toes and whatever else I can manage crossed LOL).

I picked up the phone and called 2 slip from this Saturday. One placed an order but also won our prize of pink towel for guessing how many m&m's were in trifle bowl. Left 2 messages, other slip told in message that I'm offering a "free" cooking show to anyone who filled out a slip but didn't get closest on m&m's. BTW there were 3,035 and the closest guess was 1250!!!!

Called a few other people that said they would book or book June. Unfortunately didn't actually speak to anyone. Not even my brother whom I had to call to wish happy birthday too.:D:p Left several voicemails though.

Oh well now I need to call my current host so we can close out her show!!!:) At least I'll hopefully end the night on a high note!!!:sing:

made calls. no visible results.

Made calls - got a hold of 2 people who booked June Shows - strangely enough, both were couples grilling shows. (Now I have 3 of them in June alone! Plus, one in July, and one in August.)

Both of the shows I booked today were w/ people who have indicated they are interested in becoming a consultant. Both will be getting info in the host packets I'm mailing out tomorrow.

Oh - and I had an email from someone who wants to do a Catalog Show. I'll be sending her June Catalog Show info ASAP!

Show tonight. Seven guests. One booking. Every single guest signed up for my newsletter. Feels like a successful evening. :)

And you're home in time to see the end of BL! We've missed you!

Awww, thanks. Thanks, too, for helping to keep me informed about what I was missing.

Made my contacts yesterday. I got nothing but no's. I am trying not to get discouraged and am hoping my next yes is just a call away...

Well the show was only a little over $200. Host didn't order anything outside of free product value because she didn't have any $ to spend. She asked if she'd be able to use 10% in a couple of weeks to order stuff. I said yes, or we could book another show off of her show and she could try to collect orders from the rest of her contacts that didn't order anything. Well to make a long story a little shorter she booked a July show off herself. She wanted to wait for her daughter to come home from school in PA and have a mother daughter show with her dd friends & moms!! Now I have to come up with a good theme in that manner!!:) So at least it's not a total loss and I've got one show booked for July for conference attendees incentive. Just need one more and maybe a catalog show in July for good measure!!!!!

host coaching yesterday....

Only made two contacts yesterday; one cc call with no significant results, and finally was able to speak to the owner of one of the Curves (in person). She is a former consultant, but already has a consultant that she works with, and that has done a few events at that location. Turns out that the consultant is a "sister director" with my director, and I know her very well.

Closed a $1300 Fundraiser for a Mission Team from my church.

Just now said good-bye to my NEWEST TEAM MEMBER! She came over, we did her agreement online, and she left with catalogs for a co-worker to start a catalog show! Whoo Hooo!

Now, just have to chat with my host for Saturday, and I am done for the day!

Going to try to make some phone calls in a minute, but I got a call from a lady who saw my local ad. I stopped by her place of work to drop off a catalog (as she asked), and she proceeded to place a $120 order and is going to try to get more orders to qualify for a show so she can get a discount. :D Sent out several recruiting packets to recruit leads. *I know, this doesn't count as a contact, but it felt good to get them out!*

Katie, you need a smaller bowl, girl! I can't believe you counted all of those?! What are you going to do with them now? And how much did that many M&Ms cost you? :D Too funny!

I had a show tonight. Only 4 guests (long story), and it's not an official show yet. However, we won't close until next week. She's collecting orders from work. Plus, one of the guests is very interested in more info about the business. :)

ETA: Oh, yeah, and the potential recruit booked a June show. :)

No contacts for me again other than team training stuff and host coaching. I have a show tomorrow (aka today) and then on Saturday. I am PRAYING for June bookings. Last year I did a $4500 June and this year I only have 2 shows booked! UGH!

Oh ya and WAY TO GO BECKY on the great fundraiser and new team member! WOO HOO!

Congratulations Becky! That is fantastic!!

uhmmm, I did absolutely NOTHING yesterday. I am in such a funk.

so, I did nothing AGAIN all weekend. I didn't even check my email! BUT I did wake up this morning to some online orders for a fundraiser that I didn't think was going to or was doing anything.....small glimmer of hope!

Friday, I did make a few contacts. Saturday, I had a show right here in my neighborhood, for a former consultant (who is thinking about getting back into the biz, but I think she is still on the fence). She had approx. $350 in outside orders and about 6 guests. Show sales are around $675, with more orders to come. One guest booked a June catty show, and another booked a cooking show for October.

Now off to make today's contacts!

Had five contacts on Saturday--gave out some information. Had four contacts today and firmed up a July show. :)

As for today's contacts:

~The clerk at the shoe store commented on the front cover of the catty that was in my tote. I gave her a mini catty and a recipe card, but did not have it in me to pursue her contact info.

~Got my first host for my June mystery host catty show.

~Talked to a host and potential recruit from last month. She gave me her order to close out her show, and said that she wants to sign, but wants to talk to her husband first. (He has been out of town for a few days, and should be home early this week.)

~I reached a couple others, but they were busy and asked that I call them back (or they were going to call me back). I also left a handful of voicemails.

Had a show on Friday - got there and she already had $360 in outside orders - left the show at almost $1000 in sales - woo hoo! No bookings but I'm happy with how my May is going:)

Not a great day for contacts today. Went shopping earlier today, but did not attempt to make any intentional contacts. Kids kpet me crazy in the afternoon, and by the time my "phone time" came around, I was not organized, so I did not have a list ready.

I did confirm a show for June 25th, and left a few voice mails, but that is about it. Tomorrow is a new day!

Today I got one more person to agree to doing my mystery host catalog show. 4 down, 6 to go!
