Quick Gift Certificate Question

I have a friend out of state who wants to buys some stuff for herself and then buy a gift certificate for her friend to use as a wedding gift. The reception is the 24th so she wants to have something to give to her then. She asked if I had something I could just email to her to give as a gift and then her friend could pick out what she wanted later. Any ideas? I've never used gift certificates before.

The Pampered Chef GC's take a while to ship (US mail) in my experience, so if she wants a GC I would personally make her one redeemable through you...

That's kind of what I was thinking. She said she could hold her order and just put it in whenever her friend ordered. What about having her host a wedding catalog party? I've never done one before so I don't really know how it works.Does anyone have a gift certificate they use?

I am sure a wedding catalog party would work the same as any other catalog show..

I don't have a GC but there are tons in the files if you search there (click files on the top of the page, then search for gift certificates).
