A question for Greg that I thought I'd post since more may be curious of the answer. In our profile here, we can put our "home page" website.
I put just /websitename like we do in signatures so we are not posting links to our homepages.Well, I noticed when I do that and save it, it automatically switches to:"http://www.pamperedchef.biz/websitename"I tried it numerous times and it still does it.So, I finally blanked mine out.Greg - can you answer why it is set and/or does this and can we have the field just do the end part since we aren't supposed to link to our websites ANYWHERE?Thanks in advance Greg - you're the best!

Let me see if I understand you. When you type "/websitename" into the homepage profile field it saves as "http://www.pamperedchef.biz/websitename".

Sorry, I was out and about...

Yes, that is correct, that is exactly what mine was doing. Wondering if that is set somewhere to do that.

I tried putting /website name several times instead of "http://www.pamperedchef.biz/websitename" I would hit "save changes" go out and when I came back in it would say "http://www.pamperedchef.biz/websitename".

I will try it now that I am home and on another PC and different browser and see what happens.

Ah, figured it out after trying it here...

The field does not accept /websitename. It only accepts a full address.

So, since I had typed "http://www.pamperedchef.biz/websitename" before, that was accepted, but when I changed it to /websitename, that was an invalid address so when I went out it reverted to the previous "http://www.pamperedchef.biz/websitename".

So, I guess my modified question is, can you allow us to put /websitename in that field?

Hi there! As a fellow Pampered Chef consultant, I completely understand your question and concern. The reason for the automatic switch to the Pampered Chef website is because it is against the company's policies to promote our individual websites on any platform, including our profiles here. This is to ensure that all consultants are following the same guidelines and not promoting their own websites over others. While it may seem inconvenient, it is important for us to follow these policies in order to maintain a fair and equal playing field for all consultants. I hope this answers your question and thank you for bringing it up for clarification. Have a great day!Best, [Your name]
