I'm doing a 30 minute chicken for my friend tonight. She lives 35 minutes away and it just dawned on me is it better to take it ready to do in her micro (cold) or should I cook it and try to keep it hot?

Basically I have to decide if it is easier to keep it cold for the 35 minute drive, or keep it warm? What do you think?

I'd cook it when you get there. However one thought, do you know for certain it will fit in her micro?

I'd have it ready to cook (cold), put it in when your show "starts" then do something like the garlic butter bites/trifle or something to show some product while it cooks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I cook before I take my Pampered Chef products to a party?

Cooking before the party can be beneficial as it allows you to showcase the finished product and demonstrate the effectiveness of the tools. However, it’s also effective to cook during the party to engage guests and provide a live demonstration of the products in action.

What are the advantages of cooking before the party?

Cooking before the party allows you to focus on the presentation and provide a tasting experience for guests. It also gives you the chance to prepare a more complex dish that may require more time than what is available during the party.

What are the benefits of cooking during the party?

Cooking during the party creates an interactive experience for guests, allowing them to see the products in use and ask questions in real-time. It can also create excitement and engagement, making the event more memorable.

How do I decide whether to cook before or during the party?

Consider the time you have available, the complexity of the recipe, and the preferences of your guests. If you think your guests would enjoy a live demonstration and interaction, cooking during the party might be the best choice. If you want to ensure a polished presentation, cooking beforehand could be more effective.

Can I do a combination of both cooking before and during the party?

Yes, a combination can work well! You can prepare some elements of the dish beforehand and then finish cooking or assemble it during the party. This approach allows you to showcase your cooking skills while also demonstrating the products in real-time.
