Planning a Bridal Shower Open House: Advice Needed!

In summary, for the Bridal Shower open house style in July, it is suggested to reach out to the bride's family and friends for special messages to include with the invitations, and the purchase of a bridal apron is optional and can be done by the host or the bride herself.

Hi, I am doing my first Bridal Shower open house style in July. I am wondering if any one has any letters they would be willing to share that I could include with the shower invitations that the host is sending out.:) Also, do you purchase the Bridal apron or have the host purchase it? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Dear [guest], We are thrilled to invite you to join us in celebrating [Bride's Name] at her Bridal Shower Open House. Please join us for a fun-filled day of food, drinks, and merriment. Your presence is our only gift request, but if you feel compelled to bring something else, please take this time to contribute to [Bride's Name]'s kitchen. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact [Host's Name] at [Host's Phone Number]. We look forward to seeing you on [Date]! Sincerely,[Host's Name]For the bridal apron, it really depends on your preference. Generally, the host purchases it so that it can be presented as part of the gift, but it is not mandatory.

Hi there! Congrats on hosting your first Bridal Shower open house style! As for including letters with the invitations, I would suggest reaching out to the bride's family and friends for any special messages or memories they would like to share with her. This adds a personal touch to the invitations and makes the bride feel extra special. As for the apron, it really depends on your budget and preferences. If you have the means to purchase one, it could be a nice gift for the bride to use during the shower or for future cooking adventures. If not, it's totally okay to have the host purchase it or even ask the bride to bring her own if she has a special one. Ultimately, it's up to you and what you think would be a nice touch for the shower.Hope that helps! Best of luck with the shower :)

1. What is the best time to host a bridal shower open house?

The best time to host a bridal shower open house is usually a few months before the wedding. This allows the bride to have enough time to receive and organize gifts, and also gives her some time to make any necessary changes to her registry.

2. How many guests should we invite?

The number of guests you invite is completely up to the bride's preference. However, keep in mind that open house style showers tend to have a more casual and relaxed atmosphere, so it may be easier to manage a smaller guest list.

3. Can we have a theme for the shower?

Absolutely! A theme can add a fun and cohesive element to the shower. Ask the bride if she has a particular theme in mind, or consider incorporating elements from the couple's wedding theme.

4. What type of food should we serve?

Consider serving light and easy-to-eat dishes such as finger foods, appetizers, and desserts. You can also incorporate some of the bride's favorite foods or dishes that have special meaning to her and the groom.

5. What kind of activities should we plan?

Open house style showers are more focused on mingling and socializing, so it may not be necessary to plan too many activities. However, you can include some fun games like bridal shower bingo or a memory game to keep guests entertained. You can also set up a photo booth area with props for guests to take pictures with the bride-to-be.
