I'm sorry ... I just need to whine today!

I just found out ... due to my OWN POOR PLANNING, I will not be able to participate in a craft fair in my local area. This is a HUGE disappointment. It was to be a fund-raiser for the Relay for Life and I was going to bake a whole bunch of cookies to sell for our team and also take orders for HWC items. They didn't have enough tables for everyone who wanted one, so I was out, as were 4 others.

Also ... the massage therapists who have appeared at our Relay EVERY YEAR may not be able to make it!

Still going nowhere with the SECOND Relay this year ... the one my cluster is supposed to do ... I tossed the ball to a clustermate and she hasn't run with it yet ...

I just feel like a bad, bad, bad volunteer!

I'm sorry to hear that things didn't work out for you to participate in the craft fair. It's always disappointing when our plans don't come to fruition, especially when it's for a good cause like the Relay for Life. Don't be too hard on yourself though, we all make mistakes and it's important to learn from them and move on. Maybe there will be other opportunities for you to get involved with the Relay or other fundraising events in the future. As for the second Relay, maybe check in with your clustermate and see if there's anything you can do to help out. It's always better to work together as a team. Don't feel like a bad volunteer, you have the heart and willingness to help, and that's what truly matters. Keep your head up and I'm sure there will be more opportunities for you to make a difference.

Oh no, I am so sorry to hear that your relay efforts are falling apart! It can be really tough when things don't go as planned, especially when it's for such a great cause like the Relay for Life. I know how much effort and passion you put into your work with HWC and it's disheartening when things don't work out the way we want them to. But don't beat yourself up too much, these things happen and it's important to remember that even the best plans can sometimes fall through. Maybe there are other ways you can still support the Relay and raise funds for your team? And as for the second relay, I understand how frustrating it can be when teamwork doesn't go as smoothly as we hope. Have you tried reaching out to your clustermate and offering your support and ideas? Sometimes all it takes is a little push to get things going again. Hang in there, your dedication and hard work are truly appreciated. Keep up the great work!
