...I am running one tonight for the 5 newest members on my team...and one gal who just today filled out her kit agreement, but is not ready to send it in until she sits thru the workshop to make sure this isn't "More than she can handle"...any tips?

I'd tell her to send it in now, as if she decides it is "more than she can handle" all she has actually committed to is 4 shows, which could be catalog shows if she really wants. I don't think I would actually learn anything if I went with the intention on seeing if I could handle it. If she is set on not signing until after tonight maybe say something during training of how you don't have to implement everything at once and how long it took you to get the complete hang of things... just a suggestion

Well, the training went well. I followed the outline in the Leadership Handbook pretty much to a T. And SHE SIGNED as soon as the training was over! That makes 2 new girls this week for me! Woo Hoo!!!

For those of you in the Radu downline...this means I have just met the requirements for the tea at Carol's home with her and Jean Jonas!!

Carolyn, congratulations!

I have signed 3 in the last week (I did that back in May, too). Tell me about the tea that Carol does for you -- sounds like fun! I don't think my group has anything like that going.....

Carol put out this huge incentive that she announced at National Conference. Anyone in her downline who signed 1 consultant a month in August, September and October AND sold $4000 a month in each of those months OR signed a total of 3 consultans and sold a total of $12000 from August thru October will get an invitation to come to Carol's home the day before Leadership and have tea with her and Jean Jonas. Pretty cool...except I am not planning to attend Leadership this year. My sons go back to school on January 8th...the same day Leadership starts. And it is important to me to be there to take them to school on their first day back after the long winter break.

Wow, I would have made that! 5 consultants and $14,000 in Aug-Sep-Oct. Darn! I will be thinking of you at Leadership, though. Everyone here is so incredible and supportive.

How can you not love this business?

I know!!! What's not to love?!?
I have such a hard time at my recruiting interviews not jumping up & down with excitement when I am telling them about this business. It has been SUCH a huge blessing to me in SO many different ways. Not just financially, but it has broken me out of my shell, made me a much more social person, has been phenomenal for my self esteem...I could go on and on!!
Janice, what wave are you in for National Conference?

Carolyn

What is the secret? I have 2 recruits and would love to reach director in
2007.

Carolyn, I am in Wave 3, under Sherri Carr.

I wish I knew...
I find the more I just do things the way the company trains us to do them 9rather than thinking too much and trying to get creative and reinventing the wheel) the better my sales and bookings are and the more recruiting I do.

Just do it by the book and it really truly works.

I know it sounds so silly...but I really found that when i stopped struggling to find "my way" to do things and just did them Doris' way -- things really took off for me.

Yep! I'm with Carolyn. If you truly want to know what I do....

I listen to ALL the CDs that Pampered Chef offers on Recruiting (and Booking, and Host Coaching...)! The more you listen to them, the easier the words come to you, and the better you are at responding to objections.

Which CDs are best? ALL OF THEM! If you want to focus on Recruiting and bought 10 recruiting CDs, you would be spending $20 -- you will make that back + $30 when your 1st recruit qualifies (you will get $50 in PC Dollars + 25 FREE Catalogs when they sign!). There is NO WAY you will lose out.

In addition, when I started with PC, I began recruiting from the beginning. It took me a while to learn the words to say, and realize what a RED FLAG question was...but I still asked everyone. I spoke with my director when I was about a month into my business and she said it's about 1 in 10 who will join you in your business. For me, it was like 1 in 80!! But then, everything started happening -- really quickly!

So hang in there, and get the PC CDs. AND ASK EVERYONE! :)

Carolyn,
Where do we get the "Leadership Handbook" - is it on the paperwork supply? Do you have to be a director to order it? Just curious....
Thanks!

You receive it when you become a Director.

Carolyn & Janice~

I just want to thank you for your testimonials -- it is very inspiring to hear of your successes.... helps the rest of us get all JAZZED up as well...

I agree with the tapes - the more you listen the more you start sounding like the tapes.
