Are any of you from the Bordentown,NJ area? I'm looking for ideas on how to find out more info on my biological father. He lives in Bordentown, has a stable in Chesterfield and is in the Harness Racing industry. Anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here...
 
I used to live right outside of Bordentown and have a consultant on my team who still lives in the area. Want me to put you in touch with her?

Is Bordentown a big city or small town? Is it one of those places where everbody knows everybody? (like most of Maine LOL)
 
I just want to bump this thread back into play because I know how important this is to her and I know there are people on here that may be able to either help her or point her in the right direction... please give some suggestions! TIA

I live in Hamilton right outside of Bordentown!

Nah - it's a pretty big place. But, Bordentown is not far from where I went to college and I am still connected to my sorority sisters up there...maybe if I mention his name or the name of the stable someone would know something?

I interned there in the guidance department in 1995. I went to Rider College (now Rider University) for 6 years.

Wow. I have only been back once since I finished grad school in 1995. And when I went back it was in the summer between summer sessions so the campus was a ghost-town.
Man, the memories I have there........

I work for the prosecutor's office in that county. There was a boy who died on campus from hazing this past spring semester. Very very sad...he was from California.

I know - I know all abou tit. It's horrible. He was in Phi Tau.
Our sorority alumni association is all up in arms because the entire Greek system on campus is in jeopardy. My sisters are making arrangements to have at least one alumni representative in attendance at every event fro mnow on to keep tabs on the active sisters and make sure there's no funny stuff going on. Things have really gotten out of hand since I graduated.
 
I am not sure, kacey but I think he remarried??? Not sure just trying some background checking... :)

Its been going on for years though, its nothing new that people havent been doing at colleges all over the country. I'm certainly not downplaying what happened but these kids didnt help him. Soooo sad...

Kacey, my ex-DH is a private investigator -- if you want, I can email you his contact info and he could do some searching for you.

Im not sure what I missed but do we have any other info like his name?
 
I don't know what it is called in NJ but in PA it is called the Prothonotary, it is an office in the court house that has a lot of different kind of files. Many of the records are public records. Maybe if someone that lives near there wouldn't mind going and checking.

I work in the courthouse and the County Clerk's Office is two floors below me. But I dont understand what exactly is being searched...

He is remarried. His name is Frank MacEachern. His wife's name is Linda (she is mean and scarey!)

This is going to sound dumb but I guess I'm not looking for specifics about him rather than what isthe best way to get to him.
I've tried in the past to contact him, and his wife has made it rather difficult. She put throws my letters away, put a block on the phone so callers HAVE to identify themselves.
I know that he is in the harness racing business and has a training stable called Frank MacEachern Stables and I think it's in Chesterfield...
