Michigan is a big state! I live in the Grand Rapids/Holland/Muskegon/Kalmazoo area -I'd be glad to help out if it is in this area!BTW - my Dad lives in North Port part of the year (one of the MI snowbirds!) What a beautiful town!

I'm from Michigan, maybe I can schedule a trip home to see my dad and grandparents and write it off on my taxes! :D They live in a small town, North Branch or Columbiaville or Lapeer Michigan! Let us know!;)

My oldest child lives in Holland with his mom! Well, actually I suppose he is her's but he is mine too! LOL!! He just grew in my heart not below it....:D

Oh I seen those husband posts!! I replied to it too! I don't think anyone got my joke though!

What I said was, That "recipe accident" would be good on the hubby's as long as you have the NON HAIRY version!! Kind of a yucky mess otherwise!!

I love Holland! It is the prettiest town - and right on Lake MI. - so alot to do and see - and shopping at Christmas in their downtown is one of my very favorite Holiday traditions! They have heated streets - so never icy or even slushy - and it has a very "old world" feel to it. I actually live right in between Grand Rapids and Holland - but my Mom and My Brother and SIL live in Holland, so I do quite a few shows there and am there often to visit - and of course we spend ALOT of time there in the summer on the beach!
 
I just moved from MI to AR. I say just moved it was last December but all of this talk about MI you guys are making me homesick!!! Ann, whose cluster are you in?
 
I can't imagine living in Arkansas! Was it a job-related move?My Director is Cindy Bottiaux, who is right under my Exec, Sue Burkhardt. They're both phenomenal! And we're a part of Randy Weiss' group. There are a bunch of folks around here who are in Karen Radcliffe's group. (Small world alert - my cousin was in Karen's group and never asked if I wanted to do this. And then about 2 years ago I met Karen's ex, who used to work where I do. He how lives about 1/2 mile from my parents. Freaky!)

Yeah, but how's the weather in AR?

Raining (trying to sleet) today. Windy. Supposed to be a winter storm headed our way. Yippee. :( Not a fan of the winter weather and lucky me, I live in the "snow belt". For those of you who don't live on the west coast of Michigan or in Buffalo, NY, this is what happens when you live with a big lake to your west side. Snow is created off of the lake and DUMPED in your back yard (driveway, road, sidewalks etc.).

My sister lives about 5 miles from Lake Michigan -- too close -- often the snow just passes over her house and comes to mine.:rolleyes:

My mom lives about 1/2 mile from "The Lake" (Lk. Mich. to those not from here:p ) and that happens with us all of the time too! It will be near white-out conditions here, and she won't have hardly any snow at all there!
 
One nice thing about yucky weather - my husband couldn't do anything he wanted to do outside today - so we went out for breakfast, and rented a carpet cleaner, and now we are waiting for the carpet to dry so we can put furniture back! I'm thinking of how I want to rearrange! I love bad weather days when I can get out my "Honey-Do" list!;)
