My oven POOPED out last night. I don't know what happened, but I think the heating element went out on it.

Do you know any GOOD recipes that don't necessarily require OVEN time. I would like to be able to try out recipes first before using them in shows.......but now I can't. Not until I either get this Stove fixed or buy a new one. (I live in a rental house, so it's hard telling how long that will take.)

Thanks for your help in advance!!!!

Try a:
salad or dip,

30 minute chicken

For a dessert you could do one of the microwave cakes - 123 cake or whatever it is being called...

Is your stovetop working or is the whole thing on the blink?

Stovetop works. Just the oven pooped out.

I love the 30 min chicken. Cake in the rice cooker. If stove top works panini's or tortalini's (these rock!)

I think the landlord has to get it fixed quickly, this is a need that is supplied by the landlord not a want. If they take a long time I would contact city hall or have them reimburse you for meals out. When we had a kitchen fire we got reimbursed 60% of meals that we had to eat out unitl it was fine to bring in a new stove.

30 minute chicken and micro cakes.....or maybe have sip and dip parties!

Panini or Stir Fry are good. Or check the translations of Una Muestra on CC - many of those recipes are stovetop, rather than oven.
