My great-grand uncle has been a VERY good customer. He emailed me today telling me he recently went on Nutri-System and they'll be sending him prepared meals so he may not need cooking tools <gasp!>
What tools do we sell that work well with Nutri-System stuff???

An i-slice to open all of those packages.

Other than that...he's right. Sorry.

If he has been a good customer, and is used to cooking for himself, I would presume he is a good cook? If that is the case - Nutri-System's packaged meals won't cut it for very long with him. My SIL did it for 2 weeks.......:yuck: :yuck: :yuck: SERIOUSLY! I think you have to have no taste buds to be satisfied with that stuff! And again I say :yuck: :yuck: :yuck:

Try thisCan you tweak this flyer for him?
Also maybe let him know our stuff makes great gifts during the holidays for those not on nutrisystem.
Fundraisers are good for his favorite charity or he can donate items he earns to a silent auction or school for a raffle.

Debbie :D

I have a feeling this NS thing won't last very long for him. He loves to cook. He has a young lady friend he likes to cook for (and buy cooking tools for). From what I have seen & tasted of NS, it's kinda nasty...

He will still need to supplement with fruits, vegetables and dairy. Does he have good knives? Does he have good measuring tools (if he eats cottage cheese or yogurt from a big container he'll need to measure that.) Does he have a great egg pan or the egg slicer plus? He'll probably be eating a lot of eggs.

I did this plan for one month. I lost 13lbs (without exercise -- not sure why I cut that out) but gained it all back and more. :o

Good points Jeanine!
He is not doing it for weight-loss. He is doing it to manage his Diabetes better.

NS has you eat two salads a day on some programs...I'm thinking salad spinner, tongs, the salad cookbook, herb keeper, salad chopper. There are also cake and pancake mixes. The cakes cook perfectly in the prep bowls in the microwave. Pancakes on the 8" Exec.
PC is the reason I can't stay on NS!!

Oooooh - I'll suggest those to him - I bet he'd love the salad chopper and the salad spinner!
