I just got a guest list from a host whom I KNOW is very excited to have a show and wants to have a successful show....BUT she gave me a guest list of (drumroll please...FOURTEEN...only 13 of which are local)
I have been out in the heat for the past few hours and my brain is fried - can anyone help me come up with polite yet firm, encouraging & enthusiastic wording to get her to come up with mroe people for her guest list?
Thanks!!!

But it says that you are freezing at the bottom of a lake somewhere....

Sorry I've over dosed on sweet tea today so I'm sure whatever I come up with would sound like I had some sort of buzz!

Maybe you could just tell her YEAH on those 14, but did she stop to consider____________? And then give her a list of places, clubs, people she could find more guests from.

HTH

I like to explain that a bigger guest list is not just for her, but also for her guests comfort. The more people she invites, the better attendance she'll have, and if there is a good # of people there, people won't feel obligated to purchase more than they need or want. That sometimes, with smaller attendance, people feel more pressure to buy, and that I really like to create a no pressure environment so that people can just participate and have fun.

Dear Host~
I am so pleased with your great start to your guest list! Remember that only about 1/3 of the guests you invite will be able to make it to the show so it is important to over invite. Get back to me as soon as you can with the rest of your list. Invite EVERYONE....you never know who will LOVE getting an invite from you!

I heard someone on a training CD say, "if your daughter were to be marrying George Clooney, who would be on your guest list?? It is a cute way of saying, come on you know more than 13 people-

I also heard, "you do not have to love them, heck- you do not even have to LIKE them, you can be around anyone for 1 hour !!" (LOL)

Could you call her and ask if the second page got lost, because there's no way that such a fun and friendly person would only know 13 people. ;)
