Mom's Rice Pudding Recipe: Satisfying Your Craving!

In summary, you can use any type of rice for this recipe, but short-grain or medium-grain rice is recommended for a creamier texture. It is not necessary to soak the rice before cooking, as the recipe calls for uncooked rice to be added directly to the milk mixture. Non-dairy milk can be used, but the texture and flavor may differ slightly. This rice pudding can last up to 5 days in the fridge if stored in an airtight container and should be reheated before serving. A slow cooker can also be used for this recipe by mixing all the ingredients and cooking on low for 2-3 hours.
