Can I mail a catalog, just as a catalog?

With no envelope, just mail it like it is............???

You can but most Post Offices don't like it. It can get caught in their machines and tear up the catalog. I send all mine in an envelope, it looks more professional that way.

I have mailed a catalog by itself without any problems but I always tape the edges closed (just a small piece in the middle of the top, bottom, & side) to keep it closed.
