Does anyone have a flyer/letter/e-mail text that you use when you are following up with a new lead? It's happened to me a couple times when I'm out and about that someone asks about a catalog or interest in ordering. They give me their e-mail address and I tell them I'll send them some additional info in an e-mail. So now, I wonder how much info to give in this first communication? I worry of explaining too much and making things overwhelming.

I take their phone number and call them instead.

I asked them for their phone number, but they gave me their e-mail. I wonder if it's because that's less threatening for them. I had this happen before and it ended up working out well. I actually have the manager of my local grocery store doing a catty show. I guess I could try to locate that e-mail I sent and see if I can bring it up again and re-use it. It's on my old computer, but I think I can find it. I guess I was asking here to see if someone has something that I like better than my ramblings. ;)

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I include in my introductory email to potential leads?

Your introductory email should include a warm greeting, a brief introduction about yourself and your connection to Pampered Chef, a clear explanation of what you offer, and an invitation for them to learn more or ask questions. Make sure to keep it friendly and engaging.

How can I make my email stand out to potential leads?

To make your email stand out, personalize it by mentioning something specific about the lead, such as a shared interest or a recent event. Use an eye-catching subject line, include a compelling call to action, and consider adding a visually appealing image or link to a product that might interest them.

Is it better to send a letter or an email to potential leads?

Email is generally more efficient for reaching potential leads quickly, as it allows for immediate communication and easy follow-up. However, a handwritten letter can add a personal touch and may stand out more in a digital world. Consider your audience and the context when deciding which method to use.

How can I follow up with leads after my initial email?

Follow up with leads by sending a friendly reminder email a few days after your initial contact. In your follow-up, express your continued interest in helping them, provide additional information about Pampered Chef products, and invite them to ask any questions they may have.

What tone should I use in my emails to potential leads?

Your tone should be friendly, approachable, and professional. Aim to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages potential leads to engage with you. Avoid overly formal language, and instead, use a conversational style that reflects your personality and enthusiasm for Pampered Chef.
