Does anybody have lapboards for sale? I think the DIY lapboards are okay, but like the look of the manufactured boards better.

Thanks!

I have some but I am out of town until the 24th. I'll pull them out and let you know how much. Not in perfect condition. I'm thinking maybe $1 ea plus shipping.

Sounds good, thanks!

I have about a dozen of the old Town & Country printing ones - black with gold lettering. The challenge is, they're REALLY heavy, so they'd cost megabucks to ship. I'm near Seattle. where are you?

I would be shipping from NC so hopefully not too bad. I have both those black ones and the white ones from Merrill. We'll find out in a couple days...

Frequently Asked Questions

What are lapboards and how are they used in direct sales?

Lapboards are portable, flat surfaces designed to provide a stable workspace for various activities, such as writing, crafting, or using a laptop. In direct sales, they can be used during presentations, parties, or events to display products and materials in an organized manner.

What are the benefits of DIY lapboards compared to manufactured ones?

DIY lapboards allow for customization in size, design, and materials, enabling individuals to create a product that fits their specific needs and style. They can also be more cost-effective. Manufactured lapboards, on the other hand, often come with professional finishes and durability, making them ready to use without additional effort.

What materials are commonly used for DIY lapboards?

Common materials for DIY lapboards include plywood, MDF (medium-density fiberboard), or even repurposed materials like old tabletops. Some DIY enthusiasts may also use decorative paper, paint, or fabric to enhance the aesthetic appeal of their lapboards.

How do I decide between buying a manufactured lapboard and making my own?

Consider your budget, time, and skill level. If you have the tools and enjoy crafting, a DIY lapboard can be a fun project. However, if you need a quick, professional-looking solution, purchasing a manufactured lapboard might be the better option.

Are there any specific features to look for in a manufactured lapboard?

When choosing a manufactured lapboard, look for features such as a sturdy construction, a smooth surface for writing or working, portability (like lightweight design or built-in handles), and any additional functionalities, such as storage compartments or adjustable angles for comfort.
