Is this a good cookbook?? With all of the cool tools we have that are "kid-friendly", I don't know why we don't have some current items geared toward kids. OR were they just not good sellers in the past??

Thank you!!

I know that we used to have more than the little knife for kids but I don't know if they were good sellers or not. My inclination is no.

If that is the book I'm thinking of, it had a lot of photos and very few recipes.
Most of the stuff kids could use is not marketed towards kids. Kids don't buy things at the parties - the moms and women do. So, they just don't put money in marketing towards it.There are things you can do on your own for a "kids in the kitchen" party though. The kids can cut up cookie dough and put it in the mini muffin tin and add a piece of candy afterwards. They can use the cut n seal. They can turn the handle on the apple peeler. We used the baker's roller to roll out pizza dough and tried to cut the pepperoni with the creative cutters, but the cutters didn't cut it very well.

Here are the products that my son (he's 5 1/2) uses regularly in the kitchen while helping me:

Mix n Chop
mini muffin pan
Scoops
APCS
Salad Spinner (his favorite!)
Quick Stir Pitchers
the Kid's knife
measuring cups
spreaders
scrapers

I'm sure there are others, but those are the ones he considers "his" tools. :)

I have a show this weekend! We will be making pizza pockets with the cut and seal! Any additional ideas or tips would be great !

Thanks
Renee
