Is the Pampered Chef Grinder Worth the Hype?

The knife block, beaded spoon, stemware, bamboo square bowl and drink charms are delayed and will not ship till mid-August... UGH!!!

Oh that's so sad! I was hoping to have them for my upcoming shows!

I was at the Health Food Store this afternoon, and they had Himalayan Salt there - for a small bottle (I would say half the size of ours) it was $7.95! Ours is a great deal!

I did get my grinder and salt yesterday on my birthday, so it was very cool and an extra little birthday surprise!!!

I just arrived home and as I was walking to the front door the FedEx guy backed into my driveway. So my box was hand delivered. How fun! I really wish the bamboo bowl would have arrived, too. My SIL was with me, and she is very interested in that bowl.

I just got my grinder and salt today. Bigger than I expected

To my surprise when DH left to go to the airport last night he handed me a package, it was a box from PC and I was all excited!! I didn't order anything, so I wondered what this was and sure enough it was the grinder and salt!! I knew I had a descent June for me, but had been focused so much on the sales (I wanted $1500 came up short at $1087) that I completely forgot about the hold and submit 2 shows promo!! Sometimes I think I like it better when I forget

They are exactly the same.

Good stuff! I'll definitely be using it!

It is great with our basil blend canola oil to dip bread in!

...and can be used for:

1. Salt
2. Peppercorn
3. Cloves
4. Coriander

...and others...

You can adjust the grinder for how thick or fine you want it...

Just do not put pre-ground seasonings in it.

By the way, use the PC flexible funnels to fill your grinder without spilling...

I came home today to find two PC boxes on my front porch. They weren't scheduled to arrive to tomorrow. I was going to have DH meet me after work tomorrow so I could pick up the products for a booth I have tomorrow night. Now I don't have to.

I really do like the grinder. I want another and the peppercorn medley. I am a little bummed about the bowl. But I am sure it will be worth the wait. :thumbup:

I really liked the recipes in the Season's Best, too. I can't wait to try some of them out.

If you don't have a funnel, invert the bottle directly over the "spike" in the middle. The sizes are a near perfect match.

Now I just wish they had the other grinder available in an inexpensive sample pack, without having to buy another bamboo bowl and more salt!
