I have an opportunity to advertise at a local mom-to-mom sale this weekend. I know the girl that is putting all the welcome bags together for everyone who is shopping. So if I can drop something off to her tonight, she'll put it in the bags for me.

All I have are my business cards. Is that enough or should I quickly try to come up with some sort of postcard that I can print at an office supply store.
Please help...I dont know what to add. Thanks all!

Do you have recipe cards? I handed out hundreds of recipe cards with my contact info on them. But a business card is better than nothing. You could try looking at the "Booth Coupon" under files. There are a few there- they have recipe, and a place for your contact. You could format to what you want- and either keep or remove the coupons. Staple your business card to them maybe if you wanted?Or search the files for "Recipe Card" and see what pops up that you like. Obviously, the PC ones are nicer and more colorful, but in a pinch, these might work.Good luck!

I was going to suggest recipe cards with your information stamped on them.
If the Mom's keep recipes like I always have, you will be remembered. The Mexican Lasagna would be my recommendation! I'm going to make it again today.

I like the recipe card idea. Another idea, I was wondering if it's possible to reduce the size of the DCB flyer (the one that says "Ask me how to get the Deep Covered Baker for FREE"). You could print 4 to a page on one side, then the Mexican Chicken Lasagna on the back. And/or you could print off "coupons" for a Free show and staple that to the recipe cards, too.

If you have any labels, you can put an offer on the back of your business card.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a business card enough for advertising at a Mom-to-Mom sale?

While a business card is a great start, it may not be enough on its own. Business cards can provide essential contact information, but they often lack the visual appeal and detailed information that can attract potential customers. Consider complementing your business cards with other marketing materials like flyers or brochures that showcase your products and services.

What additional materials should I consider bringing to a Mom-to-Mom sale?

In addition to business cards, consider bringing brochures, flyers, or product catalogs that highlight your offerings. You might also want to have samples of your products available for potential customers to try, as well as promotional items like stickers or small giveaways to create a lasting impression.

How can I make my business card stand out at a Mom-to-Mom sale?

To make your business card stand out, use eye-catching colors and designs that reflect your brand. Include a unique tagline or a special offer that encourages people to reach out. Additionally, consider using high-quality cardstock and a professional layout to convey a sense of professionalism and trustworthiness.

Should I use social media to promote my presence at the sale?

Absolutely! Promoting your presence on social media is an excellent way to reach a wider audience. Share posts leading up to the event, highlighting what products you will have available and any special promotions. Engaging with local community groups on platforms like Facebook can also help draw attention to your booth.

How can I follow up with potential customers after the sale?

After the sale, follow up with potential customers by sending a thank-you email or message to those who took your business card. You can also encourage them to follow you on social media or sign up for your newsletter for future promotions. Building a relationship can lead to repeat business and referrals.
