So what does one tell a piano teacher to help her invite her students' moms? She visits their houses and doesn't want to be too pushy. Some of the moms that she knows and talks too she doesn't mind inviting, but says most of the moms she doesn't really know. Thanks...

I would just tell her to hand them an invitation and then leave it up to them as to whether they want to come or not. I invited everyone in my neighborhood that I met on Halloween night to my upcoming open house. Does it mean that everyone will attend? Nope, but if I got one, it's a success!

is there a way??

You could set up a show and invite the mom's yourself??? Maybe at her house or someone's house? Just sending out the invites may nudge them along :)

One thing to tell her isto make sure she has invites and catalogs and outside order forms with her everywhere she goes. I would then tell her to take out a catlog when she takes out the sheet music and set it on the piano. This may be the ice breaker she needs.

Be bluntTell her to be honest and blunt. I mean nowadays people have home parties left and right. And of course the main goal of a home party is to make sales to get FREE stuff and host benefits.
I'm sure they will understand and not be turned off from being invited to a home party. I seriously doubt anyone will be offended. Unless they are just mean, and cheap.
But for the most part I think people are more than happy to help out even with just a little something.
The FREE food and the prizes I give away usually entice people to come to my shows!! It's also fun for them to get away from home for a couple hours to meet new people.

Tell her to be bold and to approach everyone and anyone that she thinks would enjoy sampling a delicious recipe.

Debbie :D

I would suggest that she give them an invitation and leave it at.
