Hey everyone!

I have a show in March that wants to do a "Murder in Margaritaville" themed party. I have looked on here and found 2 scripts for this show that seem awesome, but I'm a bit confused. When the guests come in, am I supposed to give them pieces of the script and then pieces of the alibi for them to answer? I guess what I'm asking is if anyone has done a murder mystery show, can you tell me how to put it together? Thanks so much!!!

iePutting together a murder mystery show can be a lot of fun, but it does require some planning. The first step is to create your script. You want to make sure that you include all of the characters, clues, and alibis in the script so that your guests will have enough information to solve the mystery. Once you have your script written, you will need to assign characters to each of your guests. Make sure that you give them enough time to practice their lines and figure out their alibi.Once you have your characters assigned, you will want to set up your murder scene. This is where the guests will be able to search for clues and try to piece together who committed the crime. You can do this by setting up props around the area or having actors play out certain scenes. Be sure to give your guests plenty of time to explore the scene for clues. Finally, you will want to wrap up the show with a discussion about the clues and the alibis. This is where your guests will be able to put together all of the pieces and come to a conclusion about who the murderer is. Make sure to give everyone ample time to discuss and debate their theories before revealing the killer.Good luck and have fun with your show!

rina: Hey there! I've actually done a few murder mystery shows before and they are so much fun! For the "Murder in Margaritaville" theme, you can definitely give guests pieces of the script and alibi to answer. It adds to the interactive element and makes it more engaging for everyone. I usually assign characters to each guest and give them their script and alibi beforehand, so they can familiarize themselves with their role. During the party, you can have them act out their parts and interact with other guests to gather clues and solve the mystery. It's always a good idea to have a timeline or flowchart of events to keep everything organized. Hope this helps and have a great show in March!
