I want to try to make the Berries 'N Cream Wonton Cups but does anyone have a good way of measuring out Cool Whip? I tried once in my measure all cup and it was a big mess!

Thanks!

Karen :blushing:

I was going to say Measure All Cup! I just scoop it in with the Mix N Scraper and push it out.

I just eyeball it. The big 16 oz is 2 cups....cut down the middle is 1 cup...each half can be halved again for 1/2 cup, etc.

That's what I do too.

Put me in the eyeball-it category.

Me too... with the eyeball...

I use Laurie's for 'cutting' the container.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I measure Cool Whip for a recipe?

To measure Cool Whip, use a dry measuring cup for accurate results. Scoop the Cool Whip into the cup, pressing it down gently to eliminate air pockets, and then level it off with a straight edge, such as a knife.

What is the equivalent of a cup of Cool Whip in ounces?

One cup of Cool Whip is equivalent to 8 ounces. If your recipe calls for a specific weight, remember that 1 cup equals 8 fluid ounces.

Can I use a kitchen scale to measure Cool Whip?

Yes, you can use a kitchen scale to measure Cool Whip. Simply place a bowl on the scale, tare it to zero, and then add the Cool Whip until you reach the desired weight, typically around 8 ounces for one cup.

How can I measure Cool Whip if I don’t have measuring cups?

If you don’t have measuring cups, you can use common household items as substitutes. For example, a standard coffee mug is roughly equivalent to one cup, and a tablespoon can be used to measure smaller amounts (16 tablespoons equal one cup).

Is there a difference between whipped cream and Cool Whip in measurements?

Yes, there is a difference. Cool Whip is a stabilized whipped topping, while whipped cream is made from heavy cream and may have a different density. When substituting, keep in mind that 1 cup of whipped cream is generally equivalent to about 1 cup of Cool Whip, but the texture and flavor may vary slightly.
