I have several friends (all either just graduated/about to graduate college, getting married in about a yr) who are newly engaged. I want to do something to let them know about PC's registry, but I don't want to seem like I just want to make money off their friendship/wedding. I am thinking of buying a pack of cute wedding shower invitations, and and inviting each couple to register saying they will get a gift certificate from me at their PC wedding shower. Any one have ideas, opinions, or tried something like this before?

Don't think of it as a favor to you, you are doing them a favor. Be excited about their new upcoming life and offer your services.

Kate is rigth. Focus on how cool our registry is versus store ones. Anyone can buy all the products on the net. And the bride/groom get FREE products (not something other stores do). You are offering them a chance to get top quality products and their guests get to help in 2 ways - 1st by buying them gifts and those gifts get them freebies.

I agree, you are doing them the favor. I also LOVE the idea of the invites! Very cute!

Hi there! First of all, congratulations on your friends' engagements! As a Pampered Chef consultant, I completely understand your desire to share our registry option with them. It's a great way for them to get exactly what they want for their new home together.I think your idea of using wedding shower invitations is a fantastic way to introduce them to the registry. It shows that you are genuinely excited for their upcoming wedding and want to help make their registry process easier. Plus, the gift certificate is a thoughtful and generous gesture from you.I haven't personally tried this approach before, but I have seen it done successfully by other consultants. It's all about how you present it to your friends. Make sure to emphasize the benefits of using our registry, such as the convenience for their guests and the opportunity to receive high-quality kitchen products.Overall, I think your idea is a great way to share our registry with your friends without coming across as pushy or just trying to make money. Good luck and happy planning to your friends! Let me know if you need any help or have any other questions. I'm always here to support you.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I casually mention my Pampered Chef registry to friends?

Start by sharing your excitement about your registry in a natural conversation. You might say something like, "I recently created a Pampered Chef registry for my upcoming event, and I’m really excited about some of the products!" This way, you're sharing your enthusiasm without directly pushing them to check it out.

What’s the best way to share my registry link with friends?

Consider sending a friendly message or email that includes the link to your registry. You can frame it as a suggestion rather than a request, such as, "If you're curious, here's a link to my Pampered Chef registry. No pressure, but I thought you might enjoy checking it out!"

How do I handle friends who seem uninterested in my registry?

If a friend shows disinterest, respect their feelings and change the subject. You can say something like, "I totally understand! It’s not for everyone. Let me know if you ever want to chat about it!" This keeps the door open without making them feel pressured.

Can I invite friends to a Pampered Chef party without sounding pushy?

Absolutely! When inviting friends, focus on the fun aspects of the party. You might say, "I’m hosting a Pampered Chef party next week, and it’s going to be a lot of fun with great food and recipes. I’d love for you to join if you’re free!" This emphasizes the social aspect rather than just the sales pitch.

What should I do if someone asks about my registry?

If a friend inquires about your registry, take the opportunity to share your excitement! You can explain what you love about the products and how they can enhance cooking experiences. Just keep it light and informative, allowing them to express interest without feeling obligated.
