I have piles and piles of entries I have collected from all the different events I have done. These would be contacts that I never was able to talk to, heard back from and yes, sadly didn't get my calls to in a timely manner.....:o
I would like to start going through these piles and make some calls. I have a start to my script, but would love any advice to add to it. I want to have a couple different versions incase I get answering machines or a live person. Here is what I have so far:
"Hello, You gave me your contact information at a past event. I was there with a Pampered Chef display. I am updating contact information and offering everyone a chance to save 10%.........."
I know, not too exciting~help!

Go to Consultant's Corner & search for the "Out of the Blue" script. It's a GREAT way to reconnect with those that haven't heard from you in a while & are not expecting to hear from you. ;)

Hi there! It's (your name) from Pampered Chef. I hope you're having a great day! I wanted to reach out because we met at the (event name) and I have your contact information from the event. I just wanted to take this opportunity to update my records and see if there's anything I can do for you. As a thank you for visiting my booth, I'm offering everyone a special 10% discount on their next purchase. Would you be interested in taking advantage of this offer? I'd love to hear from you and catch up on your experience at the event. Thank you so much for your time. Have a wonderful day!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some effective ways to re-engage old contacts in my Pampered Chef business?

One effective way to re-engage old contacts is to reach out with personalized messages that remind them of past interactions. You can also share updates about new products, special promotions, or upcoming cooking classes. Consider sending a friendly email or a handwritten note to make your communication feel more personal.

How often should I reach out to old contacts?

It's important to strike a balance between staying in touch and not overwhelming your contacts. A good rule of thumb is to reach out every few months. This could be through newsletters, special offers, or invitations to events. Consistency is key, but ensure your messages provide value to keep their interest.

What type of content should I share with old contacts?

Share content that is relevant and engaging, such as new recipes, cooking tips, or product demonstrations. Highlighting success stories from other customers can also be inspiring. Additionally, consider offering exclusive discounts or access to new products as a way to entice them back into your Pampered Chef community.

How can I use social media to reconnect with old contacts?

Social media is a powerful tool for reconnecting with old contacts. You can create engaging posts that showcase your products, share cooking tips, or host live cooking demonstrations. Encourage interaction by asking questions or running contests. Additionally, consider sending direct messages to check in and invite them to follow your business page for updates.

What should I do if I don’t receive a response from old contacts?

If you don’t receive a response, don’t be discouraged. People are often busy and may not have time to reply immediately. Follow up with a gentle reminder after a few weeks. If they still don’t respond, consider changing your approach by offering something new or different, such as a free cooking class or a fun recipe challenge to spark their interest.
