Hi Everyone,

I hope someone can help. I have a host who wants the theme of her show to be a "House Warming." I don't think she's expecting people to buy her gifts, she just wants to have people over to have them see her new house.

If anyone already has an invitation they could give me I would appreciate it. Any ideas of the wording are welcom too!

Thanks in advance!

I have one I made up and I'll share, but I don't know how to attach a file. Can anyone help?

Mary

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I include in a housewarming invitation?

When crafting a housewarming invitation, be sure to include the date, time, and location of the event. Additionally, mention any specific theme or dress code, and whether guests should bring anything, such as a dish to share or a gift. Providing RSVP details is also important to help you plan accordingly.

How can I make my housewarming invitation more personal?

To personalize your housewarming invitation, consider adding a heartfelt message or a fun anecdote about your new home. You can also include a photo of your new house or a design that reflects your personality and style. This personal touch will make your guests feel more connected to the event.

Is it better to send digital or physical invitations?

The choice between digital and physical invitations depends on your preference and the formality of the event. Digital invitations are convenient and can be sent quickly, while physical invitations can feel more personal and special. Consider your guest list and the tone of your housewarming when making your decision.

What is the best way to word a housewarming invitation?

When wording your housewarming invitation, keep it friendly and inviting. Start with a warm greeting, followed by the details of the event. For example, you might say, "Join us as we celebrate our new home! We can't wait to share this special day with you on [date] at [time]." Make sure to include RSVP information at the end.

Should I include a registry or gift preferences in my invitation?

It's generally considered polite to avoid directly mentioning gifts in your invitation. However, if you have a registry or specific preferences, you can include a separate note or mention it casually in conversation. This allows guests to know how they can contribute without feeling pressured to bring a gift.
