Agreed. It is not possible to ignore or whitewash her secret life, but CBS proved it it possible to report on it for what it is - just one more piece in a very large puzzle.Shawnna said:I thought it was tastefully done. They didn't bash her and I was glad. I feel so sad for her family. I didn't watch all of it...I thought he said "her" website...but they did show her posts on here.
I noticed that, too. His determination to get to the bottom of the case gives me hope, both for the case and for humanity.lacychef said:Didn't you guys think that detective just seemed so driven? He came across like he really has his whole heart into this case. He will solve it....interesting how when asked if she was to meet Lester that night, he wouldn't comment.
lacychef said:Yes, the police definately know more than they're sharing; but of course they're not going to tell the world, not yet. Didn't you guys think that detective just seemed so driven? Ann, you nailed it for me! This is exactly how I feel, I really like that they didn't focus on her "secret" life! They focused on her good qualities a lot, like her love for her children and I think they showed her to be the beautiful woman that she is. I would not have been happy if their focus would have been on her escort service and if they made it seem like this was her fault, because it so wasn't.....chefann said:DH and I missed most of it last night, but I just watched it. Whad a sad way to start the day.
I think it was tastefully done. It talked about the less savory aspects of Paige's life, but did put them into perspective regarding her desire to support her family. Seeing Frank break down was one of the most heartwrenching things I've seen.
