How far in advance do you send out show invites?

I'm new.. but so far I've been told to have the hostess send them out 2 weeks in advance-- that way they have plenty of time to plan.

I send them out 5-7 days before.

I find if I send them out before then, people tend to forget and they get buried with all the other pieces of mail they may leave around.

Kelly :)

Two weeks. Sometimes postcards take longer to travel through the mail system (I wonder if they fall behind a machine) so you should plan more time for them to arrive than you would a letter.

The reminder phone call (made by your Host or you) will keep people from forgetting the event. I mail the invitations and make the phone call.

I was told to send out invites at least 2 weeks before the show also because postcards travel slower than letters. I'm going to be starting to send invites for my hosts now so I'm hoping I see a nice improvement in attendance and shows.

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should I send out show invites for a Pampered Chef party?

It's generally recommended to send out show invites at least 2-4 weeks in advance. This gives your guests ample time to plan and ensures a better turnout.

Is it too early to send out invites for a Pampered Chef show?

Sending invites too early can lead to guests forgetting about the event. A timeframe of 3-4 weeks is ideal, as it balances giving enough notice while keeping the event fresh in their minds.

What is the best way to remind guests about the show after sending invites?

A good practice is to send a reminder about a week before the show. You can use text messages, emails, or social media to gently remind them and encourage RSVPs.

Should I follow up with guests who haven't responded to the invite?

Yes, following up is a great way to gauge interest and encourage attendance. A friendly message or call can remind them of the event and give them a chance to ask any questions.

Can I send invites out less than two weeks before the show?

While it's best to send invites 2-4 weeks in advance, you can still send them out less than two weeks before the show. Just be prepared for a potentially lower turnout, as guests may have prior commitments.
