How Do You Know Who Deletes Your Email's From Your Pws?

Click For Summary
SUMMARY

This discussion clarifies that PWS (Personal Web Services) does not provide direct reporting on who deletes emails. Instead, users can see if recipients have viewed their emails by accessing the "show" or guest list feature, where a "view more" link indicates whether an email has been opened. However, it is important to note that emails viewed in a reading pane may not register as opened. The user also mentions that iContact similarly lacks deletion tracking capabilities.

I read that you can tell who deletes your messages from you PWS. How can you tell?

PWS doesn't provide reporting like that. Those who get info like that probably use another service like Constant Contact.

Actually, it does. Let me go to my website and get the steps - then I will edit this post.

OK - Color me stupid! :o I would have sworn on my life that it said deleted but it just tells you if they have viewed the e-mail or not

You go into the show - or guest list - and under each persons name toward the right of the page there is a "view more" link that shows the e-mails and if the person has viewed it or not.

But be careful thinking they may not have opened it because they can still view it with the reading pane and it just doesn't register as being opened.

I also use iContact and it does not tell if it has been deleted, either.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I tell if someone has deleted my email from my PWS?

Unfortunately, there is no direct way to know if someone has deleted your email from your Personal Website (PWS). Email services do not provide senders with notifications about deletions for privacy reasons.

Is there a way to track email opens or interactions?

While you cannot see if someone deleted your email, you can use email marketing tools that offer tracking features. These tools can show you if your email was opened or if links within it were clicked, giving you an idea of engagement.

What should I do if I suspect someone is not receiving my emails?

If you think someone is not receiving your emails, consider reaching out to them through another method, such as a phone call or text message, to confirm their email address and ensure they are not missing important updates.

Can I resend emails to those who may have deleted them?

Yes, you can resend emails to your contacts if you believe they may have missed them. Just be mindful not to overwhelm them with too many emails, as this could lead to them unsubscribing.

How can I improve my email engagement rates?

To improve engagement rates, focus on crafting compelling subject lines, personalizing your emails, and providing valuable content. Additionally, segmenting your email list can help ensure that your messages are relevant to the recipients.
