I came back from Wave 1 and did this right away:

Take the magazine and pull it apart (open it in half and tear it in two, then tear each page out carefully). Trim the pages slightly so they fit into page protectors and insert the page protectors into a colorful binder.

Put the front cover of the magazine into the front of the binder (I used the type of binder with the plastic sleeve on the cover).

You now have a binder that you can share with EVERYONE that will stay clean!!!!

It looks awesome and works GREAT!!!

Good luck with this, let me know how it works for you!:)

Janice - great minds must think alike! One of my errands tomorrow is to have the binding cut off the magazine at Staples and put it in sheet protectors!

Shari,

Isn't this the greatest company? You would NEVER see one person in corporate america sharing a marketing idea with another person...they are so worried about someone stealing their idea!

Rock on Cheffers!

It really is a great company. I really felt bad after the Empowering Woman announcment at conference. I did not know I was leaking a huge secret. The consultants featured could not tell anyone on their teams since February.

I did not know it was a secret, so I did not let it bother me to bad.

FyiI had the binding cut off, came home with my notebook and plastic sheet protectors, only to discover that that the magazine is actually 9 x 11! So, make sure you get the edges trimmed off when they cut the binding so that it'll fit in an 8/12 x 11 sheet protector!

Frequently Asked Questions

What materials do I need to turn a magazine into a shareable binder?

To turn a magazine into a shareable binder, you will need a three-ring binder, clear plastic sheet protectors, scissors, a hole punch, and any additional decorative materials like labels or dividers if desired. You may also want a printer if you plan to add any custom pages or notes.

How do I organize the content from the magazine in the binder?

Start by categorizing the magazine content into sections based on themes or topics. For example, you could have sections for recipes, tips, or product information. Use dividers to separate these sections and place each relevant page in a sheet protector to keep them safe and easily accessible.

Can I include additional content in the binder?

Yes, you can definitely include additional content! Feel free to print out relevant articles, recipes, or tips from online sources, or add your own notes and experiences. This will make the binder more personalized and useful for sharing with others.

How can I make the binder visually appealing?

To enhance the visual appeal of your binder, consider using colorful dividers, decorative labels, and themed cover pages. You can also use stickers or washi tape to add a personal touch. Make sure the layout is clean and organized to make it easy for others to navigate.

What is the best way to share the binder with others?

The best way to share your binder is to either physically hand it out or create a digital version. If you choose to go digital, you can scan the pages and compile them into a PDF format, which can be easily shared via email or cloud storage services. You can also create a presentation or a slideshow to share the content in a more engaging way.
