I've booked a Cooking Show and the host wants it to be a house warming party for a relative that just moved to town. I would LOVE to hear creative ideas to make it successful and FUN...
Thanks!:)

The biggest thing I can offer is to make sure that the host realizes that you are there to do a show not just be a free caterer. Alot of times I've heard of hosts not tell the guests you will be there and then just expect you to cook.

GREAT advice. My plan is to get a list of items that the couple needs/wants and make a display board by price. I also thought about demonstrating an easy & quick meal. If you have any other suggestions or advice, I would REALLY appreciate it....I just signed up in December, so all of this is new to me!:o

Frequently Asked Questions

What are some creative themes for a house-warming cooking show?

Consider themes like "Around the World," where you showcase international dishes, or "Comfort Food Night," focusing on cozy favorites. You could also have a "Healthy Eating" theme with nutritious recipes or a "Quick and Easy Meals" theme for busy lifestyles. These themes can help set the tone and make the event more engaging.

How can I incorporate Pampered Chef products into my cooking show?

Highlight key Pampered Chef products that align with your theme. For example, if you're doing a "Baking Night," showcase your baking tools and stoneware. Demonstrate how to use the products effectively while preparing recipes, allowing guests to see their benefits in action.

What types of recipes work best for a house-warming cooking show?

Opt for recipes that are simple yet impressive, such as appetizers, dips, or one-pot meals. These allow for easy preparation and tasting. Additionally, consider recipes that can be made in advance, so guests can enjoy the show without feeling rushed.

How can I make the event interactive for my guests?

Encourage guests to participate by having them help with simple tasks like chopping vegetables or mixing ingredients. You can also set up stations where they can try out different Pampered Chef tools or taste-test various dishes. This involvement keeps the energy high and makes the event memorable.

What are some fun activities to include during the cooking show?

Incorporate games or contests, such as a taste test challenge or a cooking trivia quiz related to the recipes being prepared. You could also have a raffle for Pampered Chef products or offer a small prize for the best dish created by a guest. These activities add excitement and encourage social interaction.
