I have a feeling a show that I am doing on Sunday will not meet the show minimum. I usually get that "vibe" from hosts sometimes. She says "someone" will be there, and doesn't expect more than 4-5 to attend (no matter how much I have host coached her. LOL)

So let's say she only gets about $100, even in trying to get outside orders, and still wants the host special and free stuff. What do you tell them? I can't give her the host special if I add her stuff to someone else's show.

Tell her the minimum is $150. She has to have that much to get any benefits. There is no way you can change that.

I've had hosts make up the difference and place an order as a guest as well as the host.

This is something that you need to mention in host coaching so they have something to focus on.

Just tell her that until THE SHOW hits $150 in sales the only thing you can do is give her a season's best cookbook (or other less than $1 item you have on hand)for opening her home. Then at $150 she can qualify for the $15 in free product and the host special. Sometimes, it's hard to do, but they have all the paperwork that already says that---all DS companies do that...most have to have higher sales to even get a half price item. I give them a Season's Best at the show anyway, so I don't feel that I am out anything other than time.
Good luck. and maybe you'll be suprised at the turn out.

I have only had this happen one time, and it was a catalog show....Even with 4 or 5 people, you can have a very big show...don't give up.

My highest show only 3 people were there - the rest were from outside orders, so, don't give up. I have never had a show not meet the miminum no matter how small the crowd. It has been close like $160 but it got there.
