What do you guys do now with your door prize slips for those that marked "No" to hosting a show? And for those that marked "Maybe" do you call and offer them a Free Cooking Show? Need some ideas please

I would offer the maybe's free show's for sure. The no's I never know what to do with those. You could alway try calling them as well. Was your draw for just free cooking shows? If yes then I would call the no's too as they knew what they were entering for.

no it was for a piece of stone

I call and remind them where we met and I call everyone and say I was looking over my slips and see that you marked you are interested in hosting a cooking show. Let's look over our calender and see what date works for you. Don't say they marked yes, maybe or no. A maybe is a yes in disguise, and the people that mark no, don't even remember what they marked anyway. Good Luck!:)

Don't give them a chance to say no, by saying I see you might be interested, that gives them a window to say no.

If your drawing was for a piece of stone, you could always offer the "Dollar Days" special to all of you "no"s.. They obviously were interested in the stone, so maybe they'll host to get it for the price of the day they have their show on! Even if they didn't get it for free, they'll probably bite at buying it for a fraction of its cost!

free showI'd offer everyone a free show. Some people just want something for free. When they say no ask if you can invite them to your open house in xxxx whatever month or add you to your e-newsletter. They may be a future customer off your website...BEE

How long after the fair do you recommend calling people?

start calling right away!! Remember, it's all in the follow-up! Good luck!

You want to make your follow-up calls in 48 hours. Your potential hosts and recruits will lose interest if you wait too long.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a door prize slip, and why is it important for hosting a show?

A door prize slip is a small form that guests fill out when they arrive at a show, typically providing their contact information and preferences. It’s important because it encourages participation, helps you gather leads for future sales, and can make guests feel more engaged and valued during the event.

What information should I include on the door prize slip?

Include fields for the guest's name, phone number, email address, and any specific preferences related to Pampered Chef products. You might also want to add a question about their favorite cooking styles or products to personalize future communications.

How can I encourage guests to fill out the door prize slips?

To encourage guests to fill out the slips, you can create an enticing door prize that appeals to your audience, such as a popular Pampered Chef product or a gift card. Additionally, mention the prize during your introduction and remind guests throughout the show to submit their slips before the drawing.

What are some creative ideas for door prizes?

Consider offering items like a Pampered Chef kitchen tool, a themed gift basket (e.g., baking supplies), or a cooking class voucher. You could also offer a discount on their next purchase or a free product for hosting their own show, which can further promote your business.

How should I conduct the door prize drawing?

At the end of the show, gather all the completed door prize slips and draw a winner. Make it a fun moment by building anticipation and announcing the winner in an engaging way. Ensure you have a plan for how to contact the winner if they are not present, and consider offering a consolation prize to encourage participation.
