My host from a catalogue show finally emailed after not hearing from her for a month. She has two orders but they only total to $197. She needs to be at $200 for it to qualify as a show.

Would you just ask the host to buy some small item for $3 to bring it up to $200. She only has her order and 1 other. So I assume I could put her order under her husbands name and then she could get her free $10 in FPV under her name?

Any help or suggestions?

Does the $197 already include an order in her name? If so, just have her add a small item to that order. Usually, I'd encourage the host to find someone else to order, but if you've already waited a month to hear from her, then that's unlikely to happen.

It only take $150 in guest sales to qualify as a show.

Actually I am in Canada, for us it takes $200 for a show to qualify.

I will just get her to try and put a small order in. Lets just hope I can get a hold of her.

I do this all the time with my hosts. If they just need a little bit to get to the next level, they usually are willing to place a guest order in their name to get the extra money.

I'd suggest she purchase a spice. The BBQ one makes the most AMAZING BBQ sauce!!! I'm a fan for life!

Maybe add a couple of SBRC to someone's order?

i second the motion to add or put an order in someone else's name. i did that this weekend - business client collected 6 orders just shy of $300 and was going to buy a lot of stuff herself. she put enough in her BF name to make it a 300 catalog show. She was thrilled and so was I (I had a cancellation that day).

Add it to an order ... why pay $4 shipping on $3?And ... there are two threads both with posts in this folder ... is there any way they can be combined?ETA ... never mind ... they are different threads.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it mean to be "just $3 away from qualifying" in a Pampered Chef show?

Being "just $3 away from qualifying" means that your total sales for the show are $197, and you need a minimum of $200 in sales to qualify for certain benefits, such as earning commission or receiving host rewards. You are only $3 short of reaching that threshold.

How can I encourage guests to help me reach the $200 qualification?

You can encourage guests by sharing your excitement about the show and letting them know how close you are to qualifying. You might suggest adding a small item to their order or remind them of any last-minute gifts they might need. Creating a sense of urgency can motivate guests to help you reach your goal.

What are the benefits of qualifying for a Pampered Chef show?

Qualifying for a Pampered Chef show allows you to earn host rewards, which can include discounts on products, free items, and exclusive offers. Additionally, qualifying shows contribute to your overall sales goals, which can help you advance in your direct sales career and earn commissions.

Can I combine orders from different guests to reach the $200 qualification?

Yes, you can combine orders from different guests as long as they are all part of the same show. This means that if you have multiple guests who are willing to add to their orders, you can reach the $200 qualification together.

What should I do if I don't reach the $200 qualification?

If you don't reach the $200 qualification, you may still receive some benefits depending on the company's policies. However, you won't be eligible for host rewards or commissions. It's a good idea to follow up with your guests for future shows or promotions to increase your chances of qualifying next time.
