Hey guys, this is from a cluster mate of mine. Can you help please?:D

"I'm hoping one of you who have been doing this longer than I have can help me out. I have a customer asking me about a Pot Roast Recipe that was cooked in one of the stoneware pieces. She said it's not Cacciatore it "was just pot roast". She's looking for the recipe and wants to buy the piece of stoneware, but I can't for the life of me find either. I've searched Consultant's Corner and even googled. Does anybody know what she might be referring to? "

did you check Joyce's Fine cooking web site then go under Pampered Chefs they have alot of good Recipes. Hope you find it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best pot roast recipe to use with Pampered Chef stoneware?

A popular pot roast recipe for Pampered Chef stoneware involves seasoning a 3-4 pound chuck roast with salt and pepper, searing it in a skillet, and then placing it in the stoneware with chopped onions, carrots, and potatoes. Add beef broth and herbs like thyme and rosemary, then cover and bake at 325°F for about 3-4 hours until tender.

Can I use any stoneware piece for cooking pot roast?

Yes, you can use any Pampered Chef stoneware piece that is large enough to accommodate the size of your pot roast and vegetables. The Classic Rectangular Baker or the Deep Covered Baker are both excellent choices for this dish.

How do I care for my stoneware after cooking a pot roast?

After cooking, allow the stoneware to cool completely before washing. Avoid using soap; instead, scrub with hot water and a nylon scrubber. For tough stains, you can use a paste of baking soda and water. Always dry thoroughly before storing.

Can I use frozen meat in my stoneware for pot roast?

It is not recommended to cook frozen meat directly in stoneware, as it can lead to uneven cooking and may damage the stoneware. Thaw the meat in the refrigerator before cooking for best results.

What are some tips for achieving a tender pot roast in stoneware?

To achieve a tender pot roast, sear the meat first to lock in flavors, use enough liquid to create steam, and cook it low and slow. Covering the stoneware helps retain moisture, and allowing the roast to rest after cooking will enhance tenderness.
