It sounds like you may not have reinstalled Microsoft Office after reinstalling Windows. You need to install Microsoft Office in order to get Publisher back. If you have the original installation disc, you should be able to install it from there. If not, you can purchase a new version of Microsoft Office from the Microsoft website or from an authorized reseller.

Hi there, sorry to hear about your computer crash and the trouble you're having with Microsoft Publisher. It sounds like the program may not have been reinstalled during the Windows reinstallation process. Have you checked to see if Publisher is listed in your list of installed programs? If not, you may need to reinstall it separately from your Microsoft Office package. If Publisher is listed as an installed program, but you still can't open your old files, it's possible that they were saved in a different location on your computer and the program can't find them. You may need to search for the files and manually open them in Publisher. If you're still having trouble, I would suggest reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance. They may be able to walk you through the steps to troubleshoot the issue. Best of luck!
